Like Fournette was last year, and Zeke the year before that, and Gurley before that, and Trent Richardson before that?

I relaly have no dog in this fight either way, I just think the whole "generational talent" thing is way played out. Good RBs exist in every draft and they seem to be the ones most often labeled that way.

None of the four you mentioned are really even close to Barkley as a prospect. Gurley the closest but he didn’t have the pass game impact Barkley does. Barkley is a can’t miss prospect at HB and the first since maybe Adrian Peterson and he’s even more well rounded than AP which is significant. Zeke, Gurley and Fournette are great in their own rights and worthy of where they were picked but Barkley is certainly better than they were coming out.

You guys realize he is with the Giants now, right? Two different teams?

People saying “RB Back to back years omg!!” seem to think Gettleman took CMC with him to NY.

The point was about investing too much in the position considering the high bust rate of first round running backs the last several years.

The 2 best rookie running backs in the NFL last year weren't first rounders let alone top 10 picks.

Either you think it's a good plan to go around investing top 10 draft picks in running backs, or you don't. Which one is it?
