Opinions: running back today or not?

If the Panthers stick to their typical cb under Gettleman then Carlton Davis would be a great pickup. Dude abused Calvin Ridley in the iron bowl. He' s physical at the LOS and Will knock dudes on their ass.

I think improving our secondary will result in more wins than improving CMC, CAP, and whoever we can pick in the 5th.

We should probably stay put and draft the best available player in the secondary with our 2nd rounder.  

Not trading away either of our 3rd rounders is invaluable.  Theres going to still be some very high quality talent in r3 and having 2 picks means we can be very flexible position wise in who we pick.  For example,  we could pick Jessie Bates III with our 2nd rounder,  Quinton Meeks with a 3rd and Nick Chubb with the other 3rd (or another saftey like Daeshon Elliot)

I just hope Hurney doesn't trade up for a reach. Guard or safety are the priority in my eyes at this point. Who knows though? The chips fell pretty much how not many expected last night. Here's hoping for more of the same.

Would be really stupid to trade picks for any of the remaining RBs.  I say get one if one you really like falls into your lap in your time slot, but if not its not a huge deal.  Kick the wheels with cap and cmc and fozzy. Worst case senario well just be forced to work more from the shotgunand exotic formations and utilize short passes more than runs.

He isn't just a RB but swiss army knife, but I wonder if we show any interest in Jaylen Samuels out of NC State. would fit in that Tolbert role of Norv's offense.

Actually, Kalen Ballage would be an interesting round 3 pick. I could get behind that.
