Agree.  We have Mayo, but after that, the cupboard is bare.  I still think we can upgrade the S position by signing one of the many free agents still available.

I could see it. LB could easily creep up to a postion of need here very soon with Lukes concussion issues, TD's age, and Shaq's sub par play

If we draft Carter, and I am not saying we will or we won't, it will be for DE.  And he will probably be a pretty good one.

This is crazy, its okay to stack up on LBs but not TEs ?

Carter is 6-5, 250 and runs a 4.5--he has 34" arms. I think he could put his hand in the dirt and become a DE.  Add 20 lbs and he is a 6-5, 270 lb DE who runs a 4.6.

He is 3 inches taller and his arms are over an inch longer.  I think both are 3-4 OLBs, but if you are looking for a project DE to develop for a year, this guy could be interesting
