Samuel more safe then Byrd and Sheppard but Sheppard is the gunner, Byrd is the returner. Your losing something with both.

 Yeah but he wasn’t very good was he? Someone threw up the stat last year that he had something like 6 tackles for the year behind the likes of Colin Jones. 3 mill for that? As for Byrd he was a kickoff returner. Which I believe the NFL is trying to abolish.

Looking at the Free agent WR's from this year, Id be willing to say that if funchess gets over 1000 yards he is going to command alot. this is his last year under contract as well.

 I would bite your hand off. How on earth would anyone value him that much though? His best is an 800 yard season with virtually no competition for targets from the roster. I suppose you can argue he’s still on the rookie salary but MBryant cost only a third and he had 14 TDS in 20 games.

Yes Byrd returned a KO for a TD right? But as I understand it the skill set of a PR is a little different in that typically you need to make the gunner miss and make a cut at least once. My point was maybe Byrd can do this but maybe he is only a straight line speed guy. If that’s the case as a PR his skill set isn’t necessarily the same.
