Good Question, they are compounding the Jake Delhomme mistake by not admitting it and sticking with that mistake.

The only reason would be the fat contract he got after the worst performance of his career. Once you hitch your wagon to something of that magnitude, your either going to ride it out or pull the trigger and put someone else in. Obviously the latter isn't going to happen, so we're pretty much waiting for the Titanic to finally sink.
