Falcons didn't need another WR at this point because they have 3 capable WR's already that can do the job. There is no definitely a need for another WR at all.

I mean they needed a new WR but a first round pick when you have Julio and Sanu on the roster? They will end up hurting each other’s target share.

Pff. Okay.

SF fans hated their OL apart from their RT.

I didn’t say having Ridley was bad. Don’t put words in my mouth. Quote me. He’s good but AF have bigger needs imo.

Your last 2 sentences contradict each other.

Multiple SF fans didn’t want to lose to him. This backs up the PFF rating. He will be replacing Wes Schweitzer (graded worse than Sirles) who was the weak link last year. Our OL improved and we already have our starting 5 OL.

Literally said adding another good WR couldn’t be a bad thing. Never said you think he is bad. And the only other big need the Falcons have is DT. Don’t know what other big needs you think we need.

Not sure how they contradict themself. If we had to lose any starting DL I’m glad it’s Poe and I am fine replacing him in the draft.

Bucs got a guy who will be a rotational dt

saints paid out the nose for a developmental freak EDGE

Falcons got a 2/3 receiver

Panthers probably got their 1 receiver, though that says a lot about the current state of the team

i dunno, probably comes down to how you feel about moore v ridley

I feel great. Moore is 97% sparq, 20 lbs heavier and 3 years younger. Ridley is 7% sparq.

Ridley is going to struggle separating at the next level and doesn't have the physicality to make contested catches.

Its a no brained imo

Ridley is an elite route runner. He will excel at getting open imo.

The Bucs pairing Vea with McCoy is a bit worrisome, especially with us losing Norwell. The Falcons adding another good WR prospect probably doesn't matter for us. Matt Ryan already had his choice of which wide ass open target (read: Julio Jones) he was going to throw to anyway. Speed rushers off the edge always cause us more problems than any other type of front seven player, but I think Davenport needs at least a year of seasoning at the NFL level. I very well could be wrong, I just don't think he's an instant impact type of player. Of course, we play the Saints late again this year so he's basically going to have that year of seasoning under his belt by the time we face off so we'll see.

Turner will figure out someway to negate the Bucs line with schemes and screens etc. Something Shula would not have been able to work out. Saints shat the bed with their deal and the Falcons just added a piece they really didn't need....unless something is up with Jones that we don't know about.

It absolutely makes no sense until it becomes apparent that you are a Falcon on a Panther forum in your most recent post then it adds up. That’s the trouble with pronouns- they need to be qualified.

Cool I’m glad you’re happy with your pick. We will see.

And then there’s the question of target share. I mean hell he could be good but it’s like Gettleman and his DTs. If you get too many they take away from each other’s ceiling.

I love the way you’ve gone back to your posts to edit your phrasing and diction.

I will be expecting a big game from Ridley in week 2.

Be very worried unless the Panthers get a gem at LG and Center. Also good blocking Tight-end to help sorry ass Matt Kalil.

Worried about what? Ryan Kalil will be there (he better be with the money they’re throwing at him), and if there’s one position that can be mitigated for in football it’s guard. Olsen can block and we have 6 rounds to draft a TE2.

What a bunch of drama queens.

Watch your tone with me first off. You posters love getting out hand with people with insults like women because you know there is no repercussion. Can you explain yourself without being emotional?

Olsen can block, but what I'm looking for is a blocking specialist at tight-end. Basically an extra olinemen. Olsen is more of a extra wr type of tight-end. Blocking tight-ends like Herndon, Fumagalli, and Conklin will all be there at 5-7 rounds.

Kalil has been hurt and is not dependable. The offense performed better with Larsen in. So no, I will not be counting on Kalil for anything, dude has missed multiple games in the last 2 years.

Left guard is a huge hole. Norwell will be missed unless they luckily get Will Hernandez.

That's yall problem. Always think the guard/center position on oline is worth nothing. Then when Cam gets hurt and blasted in playoffs or throw for 100 yards/3 ints you call for a new qb.

You either get Cam an ELITE OLINE or shut the fugk up with the complaining about his stats and ints. CHOOSE ONE.

Cause its obvious the other teams in the division feel that all they have to do is pressure Cam and the Panthers as a TEAM will fall. Which is correct.

Watch my tone he says. Then:

“shut the fugk up”.
