The Bucs pairing Vea with McCoy is a bit worrisome, especially with us losing Norwell. The Falcons adding another good WR prospect probably doesn't matter for us. Matt Ryan already had his choice of which wide ass open target (read: Julio Jones) he was going to throw to anyway. Speed rushers off the edge always cause us more problems than any other type of front seven player, but I think Davenport needs at least a year of seasoning at the NFL level. I very well could be wrong, I just don't think he's an instant impact type of player. Of course, we play the Saints late again this year so he's basically going to have that year of seasoning under his belt by the time we face off so we'll see.

Sold their future is silly lol. Again, you hit on a draft like last year, you're playing with house money. Saints drafted the future last year. 

Davenport has frealish potential. If he lives up to it, he's worth every bit.

Bucs got the best d-lineman in the draft, great pick. Honestly don't feel threatened by Tampa, they're more like a little brother at this point.

The Saints gave up a first rounder just to get Davenport, lols @ them. They had a hell of a draft last year though, still will be a force, just don't like giving up draft capital to go get Davenport when I bet you he's still there when they picked anyway.

The Falcons got, IMO, the best WR in the draft to pair with Julio. Yuck. That combo is going to be hard to stop, and I think it makes it even more imperative that we go with someone in the secondary on Day 2. I would not be surprised if we went OL/S/CB in some order for our next three picks.

Falcons let Taylor Gabriel walk in free agency, but now they've drafted Ridley to go with Jones and Sanu.  That'll be interesting.

I'll echo what LG said.  Bucs getting Vea the same offseason where we lost Norwell makes me nervous.  Maybe we can get a guard tomorrow.

Hated when we traded away future first rounders.  Now that the Saints have started though, I'd encourage them to keep that ball rolling and do it on an annual basis.

One other note, not from a rival but a former colleague's team...

Josh Rosen is...interesting.
