Division Rivals 1st Picks

Not quite worried, the Bucs interior line has been hyped too many times to count, the Saints are suddenly drafting like the Saints again, and the Falcons still have that sorry excuse for an OC trying to replace Shanahan.

We made a huge step forward in the division today.

Idk this division is famous for worst to first teams and vice versa. Look at the saints being so bad then boom they win the division.

Tampa Bay- Vita Vea

Saints- Marcus Davenport

Falcons -Calvin Ridley

So I'm worried about Vita, Saints trading a 1st next year is just insanity. Calvin Ridley was a dumb move.

Thoughts?

And we’re told this guy that played for the UTSA Mud Dogs with Bobby Boucher is superior as a prospect to the Super Bowl Champ that broke Reggie White’s record in 3 years that they passed on last year because they didn’t need a DE.  Can’t make this up.

Yeah but if there's a position in which you have to lose a starter, it's an OG or S.  I think the transition will be fine.  We've got a decent starter from MIN, Moton as a temp, and Van Roten.  Plus, still like 4-5 picks left.  All is good!

Honestly, I didn't want Atlanta to get Ridley.  Jones, San, and Ridley seems really good to me.

Won’t sound as good if the new owner unleashes this “Cat” to take off Matthew’s block for good this time.

Bucs got a guy who will be a rotational dt

saints paid out the nose for a developmental freak EDGE

Falcons got a 2/3 receiver

Panthers probably got their 1 receiver, though that says a lot about the current state of the team

i dunno, probably comes down to how you feel about moore v ridley

    • It's sort of funny you guys were so bad with 3s tonight about the same time Silver and LeBron both say the game is broken due to too many 3 attempts. The NBA is almost unwatchable. No defense, refs call fouls for almost anything, guys care more about looking pretty on the court than playing tough, etc. Today's NBA is putrid.
    • It's gotten more complicated with the change of CBS and FOX no longer being exclusive AFC/NFC partners From a home team perspective, the NFL requires the home market (which is typically the broadcast reach of the station airing the game) to carry the game. For times where there is a conflict (let's say, FOX Charlotte is airing some major news event) then the broadcast will go to a local station that FOX Charlotte has an arrangement with -- like the CW, maybe.  Only in super-rare instances would local FOX throw the game over to a major competitor like to WSOC/ABC. But it could happen This is how games that are "exclusive" to streaming will end up being broadcast by a local channel in those home team markets -- because the NFL wants the local market to be able to see the game.  Amazon TNF games will always be available on some local channel in those teams' markets, for example. Or the upcoming Netflix games For TV markets that do not have a local team, then the local station gets to choose from what's available. Ideally, they'd choose a regional game or one that is close in the conference.  In Atlanta, for example, we would typically get one of the NFC South matchups for times when the Falcons aren't playing.
