Equally as dumb as those that always see the sunshine. Panthers have a good history of first round picks, Butler is the only real bust that comes to mind and he simply hasn't been given a shot. So I hope I'm wrong here, just would have been a lot happier with Ridley.

I know Kiper gets a lot of hate, but interesting that he is one of the only ones who mocked us correctly.  Kind of crazy only two people (on this list) had us drafting Moore (not including the guy who had us trading up for him)

To their credit, Panthers were on the DJ Moore train well before he ran fast at the combine and gained some momentum the past few weeks.

That is at least good to hear, people who go big on a WR just because of combine performance always make me nervous. Much rather take someone because I liked the tape they showed against actual competition, instead of just doing drills.

To be fair, Mayock had Moore as his #1, he just thought Carolina liked Ridley better. 

 

Also Mel Kiper once said this about Jimmy Clausen:

“If Jimmy Clausen is not a successful quarterback in the NFL, I’m done. That’s it. I’m out.”

Replied McShay: “What is your time frame, Mel? When do we make that assessment?”

Kiper: “I want eight years.”

McShay: “It will only take three years, Mel. We can tell inside three years.”

Kiper: “I want eight.”

Yep. All the people raving about DJ Chark after the combine made me nervous. I always thought Chark was a mid-round pick. His combine performance might have bumped him up from the 5th or so where I would've taken him before, but definitely not into the top two rounds and probably not the 3rd.

I can’t believe some of the crap I read on here... the #1 WR taken in the NFL draft and he “can’t run routes” lmao

 

If that were truly the issue, he wouldn’t be in the position he’s in. Stop falling for the talking heads differences in players to create drama and convo.
