We have Funchess, CMC, Samuel. I wouldn't be surprised if we don't go wr till 3rd. Oh and we got Greg's Olsen for 3 more years

Man if Fun or Samuel are what comparison your using we better get a wr I'm not taking away from either but when you Franchise QB is asking for every WR option that comes across his dam phone give the man someone he can shine with.

You don't get Julio/AJ Green caliber prospects at #24. Those types usually go top 5 and virtually always go top 10. You probably don't get Ridley caliber unless he's 25 years old. Who knows? We may still not even then.

If he's a notch below them I'll be ecstatic they can go out and get 2 hundred in a game if a notch below is 130 we would be a offensive force. He's not comparable to our WR we don't have a start stop athletic deep threat who also runs great routes. We have a decent group but nothing to say here Cam go out there and get busy with someone who has top notch skills. We gave him that last year with CMC and we got results one more time finish the offense please with pro Bowl talent on the outside cut T Smith go get a FS if we miss in the draft.

I really don’t see how this age thing hurts him. If he wasn’t pro ready then ok I get it but he is...

We drafted a young Funchess and he’s needed 3+ years to show anything. Let’s say Funchess shows a little more this season, sweet, now he’s due a new contract.

With Ridley you’re getting a pro ready WR for the next 4 years with a 5th year option for cheap. Ridley is exactly what we need.

I agree totally he's ready to show out, I've become a heavy Ridley advocate.

True, but like Dodd all three were considered 1st round talents. Don't get caught up in prior players. That's why Aaron Rodgers dropped since he was a Cal/Tedford QB like the busts before him. That said, next year's 4-3 DE class looks way better than this year's class.

Can’t take JuJu cause he a USC WR.

Is this the same guy that said we was getting Crabtree. Oh crap!!

No one said we were getting Crabtree you fugin retard. That thread said we offered a late round pick for him, not that we were getting him. Morons like you are worse than even fake threads about inside sources.

I would love it. Time to start focusing on offense for a change and give Cam more weapons.

I truly believe you are being a tad disingenuous with this statement. Because we have tried to acquire weapons for Cam. KB, Funch, Samuel, CmC are some of the draft picks we have made.

I mean, c'mon man. That is 2 1st rounders, and 2 2nd rounders. No way you can say we haven't tried.

We have even tried the FA WR route with players like Wright, Smith, Cotch, Sheppard. So yes, we have attempted to help Cam out.

Now if you want to argue the success of all that effort. That could be a valid argument. Because, even with all that capital thrown at the WR position, we still always seem to be playing with something less than a full deck.

We may not have done a great job helping Cam out. But by George, we did at least try.

This round?  We are going DE if one falls or OL.  I have a source, sorta. (kidding--no source--bluffing)

  • About sources.  I used to have a good source.  It was a man who knew a former student in the school where I used to teach.  He worked for the Panthers.

As often as he was indirectly right, I didn't quote this source much because it was wrong as often, and always vague.

The former student/source whose friend (he worked at the gas station were we got our cars inspected) was my informant:  Brandon Beane--he used to go to South Stanly high school.
