This is as bad or worse for the NFL than it is for the team.

I have to wonder what he was thinking when he said things or wrote notes?  Did he not think it would come out?  Did no one advise him that hey, you are putting your legacy at risk when you do stupid stuff like this?  If he had a non disclosure agreement with the first one, it seems that his lawyer might advise him that he could get in a lot of trouble.  Or did they and he just didn't listen or care?  

More than one person has said that age has taken a toll on him, but it also seems pretty likely this has been going on since well before that.

My guess?  He figured he was untouchable.  The league would cover for him, etc.

What's funny is that the same people who voted for Trump are the ones that are suddenly horrified by this lol. Difference is they justified their presidential vote with any excuse possible because they felt like they could gain something from a Trump presidency. Now that Richardson has nothing left to give its caused their morals to resurface. 

Just to clarify, I don't support either man. Both need to face the repercussions for their actions. But it is interesting to watch the blatant hypocrisy.

After you read this, remember that Jerry Richardson initially tried to pass off an "internal investigation" as a response to the allegations. This is going to get ugly for quite a few people who enabled his behavior.

And it's not just sexual.

The racial issue is addressed in the SI story too.  That doesn't get as much talk, probably because there's only one known incident.

It would not at all surprise me though, to find there are other incidents that aren't known yet.

Yeah.  We've talked some about that recently.

I still firmly believe Richardson thought the NFL would back him up on that.  Honestly, I'd love to have seen his face when he found out they wouldn't.

Jerry tried to play hardball with the NFL and the sale. They didn't seem to take a liking to that. Interesting timing indeed.
