this story is about to get buried by Bill Cosby's conviction.

Bingo. Good for JR and the Panthers that that happened today. Now hurry up with the sale to Navarro and go live in peace on a private island somewhere JR.

Due to this action her message will not do anything but get click on a  website, a few forums posts, and maybe a couple lines on ESPN. In two weeks, this is will be nothing.

The problem is that she is too late to have an impact. She should of gone public, and sued JR when it happened.

her message and others like it are the reason JR is selling the team

I understand that you are family man, and that you empathize with the victim. Thats respectable, and I have zero qualms against that. I respect you for that.

My concerns lie with the fact that she brings up standing up for women and African americans in her note, but when had the chance to do so when this originally occurred, she took money and remained quiet. There is not doubt she is a victim, and went through some eery poo. However, when she the moment to stand up and be brave, she didnt. It's as if her motive has changed now.

The racial incident only happened early last year.  She was likely already locked in to the NDA well before that.

Go public?  Easy to say.  But then what happens when a billionaire's legal team goes after you?  Any chance you have at a normal life is shot.

Sad to say I know a fair number of women who have been victim of one thing or another, some minor, some serious.  Most of them would honestly just like to forget it and move on, even though in their own minds they don't really have that option.

Men are easily impassioned with the "go after him and get that guy" feeling, and I used to be as well. An old girlfriend of mine told me otherwise after she was molested by a family friend.  Hated it, but she had to do what was best for her.

But we don't have to endure the consequences of those actions.  They do.  Whether it's getting torn to shreds on the witness stand, massacred in the court of public opinion or just having every possible ounce of privacy you might ever have had ripped away, it's not so easy.

If it happened to someone you cared about, you'd see it's not so simple.

What's wild is your sympathy for women can be seen as sexist in other's eyes. They have and stand for the right to be treated equal. With proper evidence, like she has supplied.... she should of been to push this into a court o law. Along with that, do you know how many HR compliance lawyers are there that would do this pro-bono to get their name on a case of this magnitude.

Your casting strong judgement on women with this post. Unless she did wrong within the walls of that franchise, then I can't see why she wouldn't want to hire a team and press JR and the franchise in a  legal scenario. She could of easily used the most powerful platform in the world (social media)to get society on her side.

Unfortunately, I have seen someone who I cared about go through this exact scenario, hence why I passionate about it. Her's was far worse.

So wait how did she go public with an NDA in the first place? I'm confused on that one.

Because Bob McNair fuged up and admitted that Jerry told him and other owners his side of the story, which means he violated the NDA first, so it's null and void now, or at least she's no longer bound by it.

Go to HR against the billionaire who owns the place where you work?

What she does here will alter her entire life.  Pretty easy for us to sit back and talk about what she should do when all it is to us is something we talk about and move on.  For her and others like her, it's a lifelong sentence.

She's already been harassed plenty.  It's not so easy to sign on for even more, and greater.

Yep.  ‘Well tell me what happened at your last job’?   ‘. Women fear that question if they take action.  Particularly women who are the sole financial supporters.

Men don’t always understand that particular power matrix paradigm.

Then, it is so ugly people don’t want to believe so the woman is victimized again
