Probably the creepiest paragraph from the article...

Quote

I didn’t know what to do when you summoned me to your personal office, instructed me to sit in the chair across from you, pulled my chair towards you so you could sandwich my legs, which you proceeded to rub, between yours. I didn’t know what to do when you called me to your stadium suite in the middle of the week so you could take off my shoes, place my legs in your lap and rub their entire length, from toes to crotch. I didn’t know what to do when you asked me to turn around so you could see how my jeans looked. I didn’t know what to do when you brushed my breasts to put my seat belt around me in the front seat of your car. I didn’t know what to do when you put your hands on my mouth, for me to kiss them. I didn’t know what to do when you asked me uncomfortable, sexually charged questions. I didn’t know what to do. So, I did what you told me to do.”

She will collect her money, and this will get swept under the rug. Like everything that goes wrong in the nfl.

Powerul people control this country.

poo look at Trump and what he gets away with.

whether her story is true or not, she won’t win. They never do.

This is the world we live in.

the only way to avoid it - is to avoid the scenario and don’t wait to tell your story. She could of helped her case if she spoke out during this. Nothing stopped her from getting a lawyer then as opposed to now. The downside is she will be seen as a bad guy in some eyes now, and her goal to get this message out will be ignored.

society saddens me but disconnection from it doesn’t.

Well, this is pretty much exactly what the NFL wanted to avoid... and on draft day no less. Yikes.

Now we know why the NFL wanted JR gone and forgotten ASAP.

If you look around the sports sites, it's not even in the top 10 for news stories right now.  Josh Allen's tweets when he was in high school seem to be the top story right now. Could change, but I don't think this is going to be that big of a deal for the NFL, as it just confirms things that were already accepted, for the most part.

Non...disclosure...agreement.

And I'm pretty sure she didn't negotiate it herself.

Got a feeling it won't, but yeah it could for today.  Coming days?  Less likely.

Meanwhile...

It's the right move. Nothing they could say would help their case. Best to just remain quiet until new ownership is in place and the whole organization gets gutted.

Probably gonna be a pretty big deal for the Panthers, either way.

How much it hits the NFL probably depends on whether someone decides to pick it up and run with it (which is very possible).
