didnt see this posted and since people are justifiably paranoid over trading next years first i thought i'd share that hurney has already confirmed that we won't be trading next year's first.

Until Hurney's erection grows too strong for the next Everette "Ballerina" Brown.

 

Seriously though, it wouldn't surprise me if Hurney is just a figurehead to give the image of stability during the transition period of owners. His handlers wouldn't allow him to sell away the future.

I certainly believe it.  It makes sense for multiple reasons.  If for no other reason than any new owner will want that and if he wants to maintain any chance of keeping his job there needs to be a first round pick for a new owner to call his first.
