What Do You Think About Steve Comments

Guys, like many of you I get frustrated when the talent on this team performs sub-par. Like many of you, I find myself holding my breath this season every time Jake takes a snap. But geez, guys, it's football. It's my team out there. And I only get sixteen sweet chances to see them each year before the long dark spring and summer settle on my psyche like a 400lb gorilla. Yes, we have problems, but lordy, forgive me if I choose to take some small measure of happiness in the fact that we got a win. I swear, sometimes I think this place is the Well of Lost Souls or something. It's football! At it's worst it's still better than anything short of sex. Enjoy it while you can!

What do I think about Smith's comments? I think he's got a temper and it shows up when he's not getting the ball. Who didn't already know this?

Very well known information here.. Smitty has a temper, and I never expect him to be a perfect human being. In other words, him being a prima donna has no negative affect in my mind, are we ignoring all the other prima donna's out there? He has thrown fits on the sideline many times, but has very RARELY ever went to the media to show his displeasure... I have no problem choosing Smitty over the many other top receivers who do bitch and complain.

Fact is, Moose isn't making the defense pay for doubling Smitty. We have no receivers who are doing this. Jake has made bad decisions this year, but has also had a couple good games to his credit. Minus the bad pass protection I think he would have a couple more of those games back. (although this isn't an excuse for his 2 INTs yesterday) And yes, it's evident Smitty has lost a step. The fact that we still haven't drafted a solid #2 WR and only bring in 1-2 year band-aides is even more frustrating than expecting Smitty to continue on as Superman like in years past.

We can look to us making it back to .500, but we are a long way away from making it back to the top of the league as was expected this year.

Look Steve ,we know for a fact that you are the best there is and by far the best we have ever had.But right now this team is 2-3 and we have the SHAKI'EST GUN IN THE WEST for a QB. Let's just win a few more games before we have to start hereing players complain about not getting the damn ball.

You thinK he will read this ?

GO PANTHERS.............

We need Smitty to step it up and go get those balls while the offense struggles to find its groove. He's not a team leader like he once was, and if he's no longer an asset to the team then that's nobody's fault but his own.

Everyone keeps saying "what if he had Peyton? What if he had Brees?".

What if he were in Oakland or Kansas City or Detroit? What would his career be like then?

Smith knew the organization before he signed till 2012. If he wants he could demand a trade.

Randy Moss looked like he lost it with the Raiders. I really don't see why we don't get rid of Smith anyway, we can't use him properly and thus we waste money on him. I'd rather have two mediocre receivers who can stretch the field than a 5'9 receiver and the most inaccurate QB whose name isn't jamarcus russel. delhomme cannot get smith the ball and teams doubling him hurts us more often than it helps us since jeff davidson is a terrible offensive coordinator.

How about we keep Smith, and get rid of the retards in Fox, Jeff, Hurney, and Jake

It dont matter what receivers you bring in here when you have a bad QB, and a bad system. They're the problem

Also the sucking of the team is spiraling yall fans out of control. That same 5'9 receiver could have exceeded his 05 receiving yards with less catches. 18.2 AVG, in a run system. Most of these receivers couldn't do that in a pass system, damn sure not in a run system
