How many starters MUST the Panthers get from this draft?

Saints came out of last years draft with 4 starters

we see the impact 

maybe they got lucky

We need a lot of luck too

I will say also that we should have concerns at LB and the bench for LB depth.  

As much as yes we need cb and safety, That front 7 makes the Rivera defense go and Luke is a concern....a big concern

Davis has lost two steps and what is behind both those guys are no where near their level    MLB is key in this defense. Mayo is not enough 

just my opinion as we look at a 16 game season

This, or something like this.  But I expect one immediate starter at least, and at least two others who get a lot of quality playing time.

Fwiw, day one starters from the draft are rare.  If we are looking for eventual starters, 3 would probably be a nice haul.

Hurneys best draft of all time netted three great starters (2007). So I think our best expectation is getting two, but at minimum he needs to hit on the first round pick.

We likely need a starting safety.

We could stand another starting CB

Moton, Sirles and Silatolu should be enough to figure out any O-line situation.

We have two effective rookies in Hall and Elder. One or both could make a run at a starter's role.

How many starters MUST they get.  I do not see any  that the MUST get.  My rationale:

1.  LG will be filled my Moton, a second rounder a year ago.  There are no other needs for starters on the OL (Kalil? jeez)

2.  FS - Searcy was not that bad at Tennessee, he simply lost a competition to a good player.  I expect that he will improve the position. 

3.  SS- Adams is a capable vet.  Is he old, yes.  He helped write the New Testament.  However, he is serviceable.  I think SS is our biggest need, fwiw, but we do not have to have a starter.

4. CB- Cockrell is pretty good and Bradberry will be better.  You could argue that we need a CB, but Josh Norman rode the pine his second year and he was less disciplined than Bradberry.  The blitzing was not good for him or anyone covering #1 WRs.

5. WR- We have Funchess who has improved every year.  We have a slot or two and a deep threat.  Hoping a rookie WR can come in as a #1 WR is a tall order.  Are we better than last year? Probably.

6. TE- Olsen. 

So there are no MUSTS, but I would love to see upgrades at WR, SS, FS, and MAYBE CB.

I re-watch the saints game and that was basically I toss up even on their court. I think we are in better shape than most. 

A tackle prospect we can groom a year at LG would be a good fit and can hopefully be had in the 3rd. Other than that, I think this is a BPA draft for us.
