Josh Rosen let it all fly out there. Calls out all the High School players that were above him. Says he'll still be in the NFL in the long run.

I remember running out to my first practice at UCLA. Rosen was already on the field warming up and my jaw dropped: “How is this kid 18?”. His arm talent is something to behold in person. Not a doubt in my mind he will be the most successful quarterback in this draft if he can remain healthy which is a legitimate concern with him. He took a beating behind his offensive line in college. Hoping wherever he goes he has a decent front 5 supporting him.

Damn you played for UCLA?

He was naming guys that he used to back up that he says are "nowhere" now.

And yeah, that strikes me as just a tad petty, a little immature.

Granted, immature isn't exactly all that unusual in a college kid.

He's naming guys he was lower than in the national rankings or showcase camps too. That's what he's alluding too with he said a number 2.

But to your point it could seem petty or that he takes things to heart and let you know when your wrong.

He didn't back any of those guys up. They all went to different high schools. They were competitors.

Ah gotcha, and definitely.  Point still holds, though.

And realistically, those rankings hardly ever hold up.  I remember seeing one that had Kris Mangum ranked as the best tight end in the country coming out of high school. What's the point of being upset about them?

If you have a problem with Rosen’s cockiness, then you must really have a problem with Cam.

I rather have a QB with Rosen’s mindset than someone like Matt Ryan or Dalton, who have that beta aura to them.

Or Steve Smith. If this guys can play this is what you love when he's your guy.

Worked there under Mora, things changed quickly when Chip came in. I was gone before then, but just about all of my coworkers are now out. Brutal business for support staff and coaches alike.

Ah, didn't realize.

You still in the field?

Not saying he's Aaron Rodgers but Rodgers dropped for similar reasons and Rodgers been liking everything Rosen tweets about.

Honestly he's outspoken but it's stupid that some gms will knock him because he's anti trump in a serious but joking manner.

With us having Cam we should have no problem with a qb being brash and in your face.

I have read enough  about both Rodgers and Rosen to assume they are probably both Richard Craniums.

Currently out and desperately trying to stay in, did a year in the NFL with a team in the AFC in 2016 and spent last season at a small division 1 program. Hoping for the best. All about connections, timing, and a whole lot of luck.

Best of luck, man.  Never give up.
