I liked it a lot. It had everything I was looking for out of it and I read the comics when they came out.

I think they did a good job of blending the best parts of Infinity Gauntlet into this movie. For how great Infinity Gauntlet is, it comes across a little dated at times. 

This movie borrows a lot more from Infinity by Hickman than IG tbh.

It was a good popcorn burner of a movie. Part II seems like a million miles away, though.

Took my son to see this today...freakin epic.  Stunned.  The best super hero movie Ive seen.

It was pretty great.

One thought I had was imagine if you are a kid that has grown up watching the MCU movies as long as  you can remember and then seeing this. My ex took her 12 year old and she told me that he was straight up bawling at the end. For someone that hasn't read the comics I guess it was pretty brutal. Just another perspective I guess.

If you read the comics, you knew this going in. It didn't diminish my enjoyment of it. However, I think the movie will do it differently since Adam Warlock hasn't been introduced yet.

I also think this is fantastic. Not that the kid was bawling but that the story can have that impact. Kid also probably doesn't have the understanding that there are movies coming out afterwards that those "dead" characters are starring in. ;)

My guess is that some of those that survived will have to be sacrificed to bring back those that perished.  Ironman, C America, and maybe Thor, since none of those three have Marvel movies on their schedule, except for Avengers IV.
