Those two 1st quarter heaves to Smith really told a lot. Jake has always heaved it up there for Steve to make a play but back to back overthrows by 10-15 yards each??

I saw plenty of open receivers, just no one to get it to them.

I remember in the 4th quarter when it was 3rd and 7 on our own 7, all that I could think was "Jake is going to get nervous try to force it to smith and it will be a pick six". I literally saw the play happen in my mind. Instead he hands the ball to williams who gets the first down easy. "Yes, finally!" I say to myself. Three plays later, another 3rd and 7. This time jake does force it (to Moose not smith) and sure enough pick six.
