special teams. first dante wesley's boneheaded maneuver, then allowing a return for a TD when we were up 21-7 in what could have turned into a blowout.

credit is due to the tampa bay buccaneers for playing well individually, and anticredit is due to jake delhomme for sucking it up, but the special teams play almost lost this one for us.

Jake Delhomme. The pick six and the overthrows didn't give the passing game much of a chance. I wasn't watching the Bucs' secondary close enough to tell if they had as good coverage as it seemed or if it was just Jake.

Special Teams has been getting worse every year. Delhomme directly gave the Bucs 7 points with his pick six. Today, special teams directly spotted the Buc 10 points (KO Return and blocked kick). The numbers say special teams.
