Isn’t this guy one of those combine freaks? If so I’m weary of people who go from mid round to first round based on a good combine. Yeah he has speed but technique over speed any day.

It's the other way around. You can teach technique but you either have speed or you don't.

Jackson is an interesting prospect, to me. He came to LSU as an ATH. Played a little receiver and skatback before they put him at CB for good. He's really just learning the position, and with his athletic ability, the sky is the limit. I worry about his size though. He's a bit lean. Think he would struggle with some bigger NFL receivers in the slot.

Yeah, not too excited about drafting another nickel. Maybe this is just due diligence in case he slips and we're looking at him as a possible late rounder? Or... maybe Corn sucks and Captain is still in the doghouse.

interesting that we brought in a 5' 10'' cb with Corn unproven and Captain on the roster.  We have only used these type of players as a nickle, largely because of the big wr's in our division.

Could this be a shift in our philosophy?  Do we think he could play outside with Drew and Ryan high pointing passes to Julio and Mike Thomas?

Did he play nickel at LSU? Seems like a waste of his speed. He’s tall but skinny. His draft position was 2nd round before the combine so really his 40 time didn’t see a huge rise in his stock.

A mixture of both but excelled in the slot.
