What kind of WR would you like to see on the roster?

We need a WR that takes his craft seriously tbh. What I really mean is I want to see my WR practicing the basics like JNo did in his position. I don't think I've seen someone concentrate on the art of catching a ball at all angles like he did. Steve Smith Sr. embodied that but he hasn't been with the team in a long time. I guess to keep it short, a WR with not just good but great work ethic that knows that you can always improve. You can be a big play threat as well as a great route runner. They are the opposite sides of the same coin but the same coin nonetheless.

No, and never in a million years

I'd like to think the culture in the Carolina locker room can fix whatever dislike you and others have for him. Sometimes a change of scenery can help a lot. Dallas, just like other big market teams, can have a good or negative impact on a player. Just look at what Jerry Jones allows his star players to get away with (Elliot, Hardy, etc.).

I'd be curious to see what the market will look like for Dez. Will someone overpay him due to name value? If not, will he take a short term prove it deal to try to cash in big one more time? I'd potentially be interested in the latter. We can't even afford to entertain the former.

I think he'd take less to stay in the division. With that said I think his gets over paid somewhere, on name alone.

For me it’s 50% because of his current ability, 30% his attitude, and 20% because we haven’t signed a guy like him since Keyshawn.

I wouldn’t want to sign him just because he says he can play better than he has. He’s a number 2 at best and we have a roster full of those. And like it or not, he would probably mesh on the field with Cam about as well as he did with Dak.

IMO, he should be a Packer.

Its amusing when people talk about #1s and say we need somebody like Julio.  Pretty much every team in the league does.

What is a number one anyway? Adam Thielen, Marvin Jones, Alshon?

Speaking of Dez, is he really much better then Funchess at this point in his career?

As far as what type of receiver we need I think we need a quality outside receiver with some versatility.  Everyone keeps talking about a deep threat but I think we have been a bit too specialized with our receiving corps in the past.

We seem to have big and slow guys, small and fast guys, possession guys, what about someone who can do a bit of it all.  A guy strong enough to beat press coverage on the outside, big enough to win a jump ball, fast enough to go deep and keep defenses honest.  Someone who can get some yac after the catch or run a great round on 3rd and 8.

Coming out of college, he was known as a great route runner with good return ability.  Played faster than his 40 time would indicate.  There were concerns about his size, but if he was put into one of the four boxes it would probably be Route Runner.

I was pissed that we drafted a punt returner in the third round.  Since then, I have been pretty consistent with my initial reactions during draft day.

James Washington dominated the senior bowl and beat press coverage consistently and would be a great deep threat. I'm kind of shocked how underrated he is on this board cuz he seems like a perfect fit for us but for some reason people here just aren't into him  If he went to South Carolina, a lot of you would be insufferable about drafting him like you are with Hayden Hurst lol

DJ Moore is good at making things happen after the catch and would probably be dominant in the short passing game and contribute inside right away, more than Curtis Samuel for sure. Then he'd move to the outside by his second year and be a full time WR.

Both would be great for Cam and fit a huge need. I like both and don't mind either in the first round since they'd probably both start for us real fast and be good players.

I've really been warming up to Dasean Hamilton the more I read.

Also, another who doesn't get much love: EQ St. Brown could be great value if there in the 3rd.  Think he fits Norv's system very well.

Big on the Anthony Miller train but I just don't see us being the team to get him.  Mid-2nd.

Would not be mad if we ended up with DJ Moore.

Those 4 are kind of it for me. I'm not a fan of Washington or Kirk.
