Point is the idea of a superteam predates LeBron going to Miami. Also its well documented KG would not have accepted the trade to the Celtics without Allen joining. KG got to choose to join the team the same way a free agent can choose his location.

KD joined up with the Warriors because OKC choked away a golden chance to knock them off and he's so mentally fragile he thought jumping ship and winning a couple of championships the easy way would create a legacy.

my argument is he joined what was already considered a superteam. its a much weaker move than joining a team with one established star and convincing another to join you. especially since the team LeBron joined hadn't literally broken the NBA record for wins the previous season.

I just do not get these people who think Durant going to the Warriors is that much worse than Lebron going to Cleveland.

Yes- Durant left because he couldnt win a ring so joined a team that he could get a ring (heres also one thing people ignore, that while team was built through the draft and no #1 picks like Irving.  Draymond Green was a 2nd rounder.  Durant was the only major free agent on that team)

 

Yes- Lebron left Cleveland because he couldnt get past to get a rong, so he formed a superteam to get one

 

So lets see

Lerbon got

a vet former All-Star guard who was ome of the best shooter and was a solid role player for the heat.

The top 2 guard in the league who was in the MVP race and already a finals MVP 

The top PF who xarried his bad team on his back to the playoffs and name was thrown around as a MVP candidate.  And also one of the more dominant people on the team USA.
