Worley Arrested

It just goes to show how truly underrated our staff in the org is at keeping problem players under wraps here. This isn’t the first time dudes have left the building and taken a mighty fall.

we should have been more willing to draft guys with issues here because we’re clearly very capable of holding them down if their talent is worth it.

Worley clearly thinks he’s that dude and because of his hubris I’m happy to watch him wreck, but it’s always sad to see people undone by themselves. Glad he’s gone.

We got Smith at last year's prices. He's not terrible. Are you just saying this for the sake of arguing?

a wr who had 36 catches in 2017 and a 21.9% drop rate is not a good wr.

i'm not a homer who is going to bring up his stats from baltimore to prove why he is a good wr. the eagles were going to cut him anyways and now they will cut worley.

ron is going to trot torrey out there as a WR2 when he is no more than a WR4/5 at best.

From what I'm reading, it sounds like he partied too hard the night before, fell asleep in a car that was blocking a road, then got belligerent with cops when they came to check on him and get him to move.

Screw up your career and your second shot for one night of partying...

Dumb.

don't forget the gun. hopefully he had a license.

Under the Pennsylvania Criminal Code, Title 18, Chapter 61, you may be charged with carrying a concealed firearm on your person or in your vehicle without a license as a first degree misdemeanor if you are eligible to have a license and you have not committed any criminal offenses. This excludes your home and a fixed business location, so you are lawfully allowed to carry a concealed firearm at home or at work (if it is permitted). In Pennsylvania, a first-degree misdemeanor comes with five years in prison, up to $10,000 in fines, or both if convicted.

Ignores the fact that he was a bad fit for the Eagles and exactly what we needed. They misused him. The one time they used him right-in the playoffs his stats were good. Even if we cut him for a deep threat like James Washington, it isn’t the one-sided loss of a trade that was reported at the time.
