Kupchak Cleaned House

Recommended Posts

So as everyone knows, Clifford was canned. However, Kupchak also canned pretty much everyone outside of the assistant coaches and that was simply because he wants coaches to be available to the players during their offseason workouts. Kupchak even elected to let Noel Gillespie go, the head coach of the Greensboro Swarm. If his makeover of the operations side of the Hornets is indicative of how he plans to handle the roster, we could be in for a wild offseason.

Good, losing is unacceptable and maybe it will finally be treated as such. Shitty ass mcw's exit statement somes up the loser attitude of the hornets.

in Cliff's defense - Kemba stated, he himself, recruited him and brought him in here.. But Cliff needed to diagnose the problem and fix it - instead he let it fester.. one of the main reasons he's gone..

I don't get the local media's obsession with defending Cliff. Cho sucked but Clifford never maximized the pieces that were given to him.

I understand why - Cliff was very candid with reporters when asked about players and how the team performed.. he didnt have the canned "coach-speak" for them.. I appreciated that as well.. and when you compare Cliff to the other jokers we had in here for the past decade - he stands out as the only competent coach (aside from LB)..

but that doesn't save him by any means and he needed to go - but i understand why the media "defends" him.. or doesn't jump at the chance to roast him - like most other markets would..
