Cowboys expected to release WR Dev Bryant today, barring an unexpected last-minute change of heart, per @toddarcher and me. But the plan going into meeting that is now underway was to part ways with Bryant.

Yeah he is going to want alot and would not go well in our locker room. This won't happen, looks like receiver in the draft.

As exciting as that could be, I doubt we can afford him. But hey, Hurndog has shown he’s willing to gamble a bit with his job on the line...

I can’t say I would hate the idea. If we could make it work without sacrificing our future cap, I’d be okay with this.

 

i know a lot of people said “no way he sucks.” But are you seriously going to say there is a more talented receiver available via draft or fa that would add impact to the position like he would on day 1?

Yes. He's not good anymore. Yet I bet he wants to be paid like he is still a top WR.

Fantastic catch radius, which is the only kind of receiver our QB can hit. Would be a good acquisition.
