No doubt, the Panthers most successful 7 year stretch has been during Rivera's watch.

However, it should raise a question in everyone's mind, how much of that success should we attribute to Ron and how much should we attribute to Cam?

Even with Cam as QB (a luxury John Fox never enjoyed) Rivera has only had a total of 4 winning seasons out of 7.

Ron didn't manage to secure more winning seasons than losing ones until 2017 at 4-3.

Not exactly tearing it up now is he?

At this point I think Rivera should be here until Cam is no longer here. I don't see us doing a full rebuild until Cam/Luke are done.

Let me first start by saying, I like Ron. I really do. But I'm reading the posts in this thread, and honestly I almost want to laugh.

It's easy to say we could do much worse, and tout him as one of the best coaches in the league when it's April.

But if you fast forward to September/October and he's once again coaching not to lose and walking into the locker room at halftime with 2 timeouts in his pocket while our momentum goes right out the window, you know what this place is going to look like.
