I don’t understand why everyone thinks Daesean Hamilton is such a great player. He never had a season where he scored over 6 tds or had over 900 yards. Is there something I’m missing?

The same can be said about Calvin Ridley

wow that would be horrendous

Why?  Do you have the power to see into the future and predict that all these players will be busts?  For all we know, these guys may be the real deal. People need to stop focusing so much on the big names and just get smart players that will fit your scheme.  There's no trophy for winning the draft championship, just ask Cleveland.

And for the record, I'm cool with that draft.  Olsen is slowly heading for the booth, we have zero depth at LB, crappy depth at RB and Hamilton is a name that has been blowing up lately.  Could be an absolute steal in the mid rounds.

My dream scenario (not sure if realistic):
1. Josh Jackson
2. Mike Gesicki
3a. Rashaad Penny
3b. Jessie Bates / Frank Ragnow

I've seen several mocks where Jackson is available in the bottom half of the 1st. I'd take him. I'd also take Gesicki in the 2nd. Just don't expect him to block.

Anyone hoping for Ragnow in the 3rd can pretty much forget it.  I keep hearing he is a riser, and have even seen some mocks that now have him in the first.  Don't know if he'll make it that high, but if we want him, we pretty much have to hope he is there in the 2nd, but even if he is, I don't think we'll take him.

I think we'll go WR/CB in the first and WR/CB/RB in the 2nd.  Most likely, if Moore or Ridley is there in the first, that's who we'll take and well go CB in the 2nd (unless a RB falls).  But if not, then I think we go CB in the 1st (I prefer Oliver, but don't know what the team thinks of him) and take a WR in the 2nd (again, unless a top RB falls).

I would say Ridley is probably going to the cowboys now that Bryant is gone.

Yeah, I think that's a real strong possibility.  But if Ridley is gone, they may take Moore, or maybe even Sutton.  I know they had all hands on deck at Sutton's pro day.  Regardless, I do think they take a receiver in the 1st.

I live ragnow, if we take him in the second I'l have a smile on my face. However, there is value in the third and fifth at the guard/center position. Will Clapp to name one, Sean Welsh, and Brian Allen. All those guys have played guard and center.

Trade the # 24 Pick for..... Either additional 3rd round pick..... or..... (like we did with Early) trade 2nd round picks with some team and move up in the 2nd round.

Then draft Justin Reid who I think will still  be there available early in the 2nd round
