If these are our 1st 4 picks, we may have 0 day 1 starters...

With all of the talented CBs in the 1st, we really need to go CB.

With the other 3 picks, BPA between a S, TE, and OL/DE

Going defense in the first round is always the safer bet, but I also couldn't fault the powers that be, for grabbing Olson's replacement.

How about a simple philosophy: If a TE, DE, OG or CB that is rated to go in the high to mid 1st round, and is there at 24, they take him. We could even add WR to that but an excellent TE could replace that need. That's the best scenario. And I would possibly include S in there, but I don't think they value that position so high. We have 4 to 5 top spots we need, why zero in on one? If there guy falls, take him. Repeat for the 2nd round to take someone projected in the late 1st, early 2nd falls in one of those positions of need. This all based on no trades.

I don’t understand why everyone thinks Daesean Hamilton is such a great player. He never had a season where he scored over 6 tds or had over 900 yards. Is there something I’m missing?

He is catches the ball and is a great route runner. He knows where to find holes to get open. It wasn't like Penn St had the greatest QB and they had Barkley to run the ball. So u can't go off stats you have to watch his film. He will be very good in the NFL. I would love to get him in 3rd or Anthony Miller. I hope we don't go wr 1st or 2nd Rd.

I understand he didn’t have a good qb but good WR have put up great numbers with a horrible qb plenty of times.

maybe he just wasn’t in the right system or have the right players around him to put up good numbers but his production still worries me.
