So?

He “MAY BE” damaged goods. We KNEW Matt Kalil was straight garbage but that didn’t stop us from giving him A LOT more money than the Saints did Meredith.

This is a low risk, very high reward scenario for the Saints.

Low risk, no reward.

That knee situation = game over.

For the sake of a young man's future, I hope someone gives him some money - keep-your-family-up money.

Hmmm didn’t know about the mcl injury, def something to look out for

Just rewatched his injury and his leg basically was folded in half sideways, completely destroying probably every joint in there.  That’s why the Bears decided to let him go

If you’re going to follow me around like a puppy, learn proper grammar.

Are you the same loser who had the profile pic of you and your kid? I can’t keep track of all the idiots on this site so help me out.

Looks like you're the the idiot trying to say this is a low risk high reward move.

Lol. Give me Michael Thomas, Ingram, Kamara, Ginn and Meredith over all of that junk. You can even keep the left overs.

Man get the hell out of here. Y'all will be garbage this year. We will sweep you're ass's this year. All that poo Cameron Jordan talked, Cam will wear that defense out this year.

I'm actually glad the Bears didn't match.  It seems the Saints are looking for more receiving talent, and I have a feeling that if they didn't get Meredith they would get a guy like Washington or Miller in the second.  And that, IMO, would be much worse for us than a guy coming off a serious knee injury that nobody knows will ever be the same, and even if he is able to get back to 100%, it likely won't be this year.

Hard to say.  We're still incomplete, and we have yet to see what some of these guys will do with a legit OC calling the plays.  IMO your biggest asset is having Payton designing an offense that takes advantage of what his players do well while masking their weaknesses.  There were times that Shula actually looked to be taking the exact opposite approach.  At times it looked as if he missed the day they taught the concept of putting your guys in a position to succeed in OC school.
