I have no idea what regions of South Carolina are Panthers fans/Falcons/Jacksonville.. as I am In Virginia have a large Panther base since I am close to NC but a huge Resksins/Baltimore..so areas are so diverse by state its hard so say.. but hen I think of SC for Football its the GameCocks or Clemson.. not the Panthers.. so SC needs to figure if they want to align to the Panthers as a state .. so if the show Panthers games every Sunday in your area.. then I guess u are in Panther Country..

I could be wrong but i believe every where in SC gets the Panthers game every Sunday. SC is Panthers country training camp and they played the first season in South Carolina

I lived in Hilton Head for the 2015 season. Pretty much nobody down that way were Panther fans. Many more Falcons.  Myrtle Beach area is even a lower percentage it seems. It's all NE teams there. Charleston might be a little more interested but not much.

The Panthers aren't in control of South Carolina sentiment. The stadium is closer to most of the South Carolina population than Raleigh, Asheville, and Wilmington.

Some people don't like the NFL and some people don't like the Panthers. Winning always helps but this idea the Panthers need to reach into South Carolina and draw more fans is silly. I wouldn't know what the statistics are like but I'm guessing they are similar in most of NC,

This idea that you can go to other NFL cities/states and everyone supports the hometown is a farce too. I've met Panthers fans in Seattle, West Virginia, New Jersey, Ohio, Atlanta, Las Vegas, Tampa, and Nashville. You go up to a New Jersey sports bar and there are fans of all the front runners, every NFC/AFC East team and of course delusional Cowboy fans. It's like that everywhere. Can you imagine how the 200 Chargers fans feel in LA?

Where in Charleston and when? I bartend downtown and where I work along with at least 4 other bars on the peninsula are dedicated Panthers bars who always have killer turnouts on Sunday. 2015 playoffs and Super Bowl were crazy.

5 to 10 years ago was a totally different story.

I live in Charleston as well and have been pleasantly surprised how much the fan base has grown around here over the last several years.  Used to be where you’d occasionally see a panthers sticker on someone’s car or a few guys in panthers jerseys on sundays at the bars.  Now they’re everywhere.

Prior to the Panthers, Charleston was a big Redskins town. Nowadays, we have many people from Ohio for some reason so you see the Ohio teams represented. Lots of Pats fans, but most that I know are indeed transplants. Boeing brought in a whole slew of (20)12s. For as much as places like LA get critized for having a lot of transplants and not many natives, its true of Charleston as well. I've lived here pretty my whole life, outside of a couple of years in Wake Forest/Raleigh, and most of the people I went to school with live in other cities now.
