Panthers Super Bowl odds (Vegas)

Some weird odds at the Vegas sports books this week:

  • MGM Resorts were all showing Carolina opening at 20/1, with 20/1 as current (4/2 date)
  • The Wynn showed Carolina opening at 25/1, with 28/1 as current (4/4 date)
  • But Caesars? Oh, they were more interesting....
They opened at 30/1.  Their printed "current line" was 40/1.  I went up to the window.... and got them at 45/1.

In other words, it pays to shop around.  On the other hand, what does Caesars know that MGM/Wynn don't (or vice-versa)?

I don't care if it's an even year but we will have 10 or more wins again this year. Cam will have all off-season and Norv will help alot. Cam looked like he was finally coming around till all the wrs started getting hurt. I'm so glad we are looking at getting wrs and tes. We need it!

gotta love giving away money. Competition in the NFC will be the highest we've seen in some time this year. The AFC is a joke and if we were over there, it would be a different story.

$20 to make $900? I'm good with that level of commitment.

Westgate has them at 40/1.

In Vegas betting, Westgate and MGM have more similar numbers however 20/1 and 40/1 are way off.

That's why I thought it was weird. I was going strictly by the flyers, though. Not checking at the counter until Caesars.
