tbf it would take one of the baddest launch coasters on the planet to top fury.  i'm not talking top thrill dragster or kingda ka, but a monster version of the incredible hulk or thunderbird.

topping fury is borderline unrealistic, but it could happen in the future

i'd be happy with a sweet ass RMC

fury owns. i rode it 5 times in like 30 minutes. there was no one in line. do people not like it or did i just happen to be lucky that day?

at the beginning of the day and end of day you can pretty much just ride the best rides back to back , mid day is when the waits usually happen

fury is a people eater too, and the highest capacity coaster in the park.  first night it opened, the line stretched through the entire queue, and then back around a makeshift wall behind rip roaring rapids, and it still only took about 45 minutes to an hour to get through the line.

if you go on a weds, you can pretty much ride it like that all day long.

Wait, they got rid of white water falls!?!?! WTF. And your pic includes the wave pool... did they get rid of that too!? God damnit, you move away from charlotte for a few years and they trash your childhood memories to poo.

Next thing you know, they'll get rid of Hanna-Barbera Land.

nah they doubled the size of the water park when they got rid of WWF

no Carowinds has 2 wave pools.  They got rid of the BS, peace and quiet kiddie pool no one used.  Carolina Harbor has been redone, it does not need this waste of space.  And not sure if you are being serious, but Hana Barbera has been gone for some time and is now Camp Snoopy.

Oh, I see the difference in the pools now on the map. I haven't been in probably 10 years; I'll probably give it another year or two until my kid is big enough to ride the kiddie rides.

I wasn't being serious about Hanna Barbera - I think it was rebranded when Paramount took over - I do miss it though, those characters were the best and Smurf Island was baller for 5 year old me.

Fun story, when I was like 4, I went on the scooby doo wooden coaster with my mom and climbed out of the car mid-ride and into another car - she was stuck in the car by the restraints and couldnt get me so the people in the other car had to hold on to me until the ride was over.

    • I don't care about offensive production for a team that literally only threw to him and the running back. I care about what I see on film:   Dude cannot separate on his own against talented LBs/S and had to be schemed open; his route running is below average; while pretty athletic, he doesn't have elite athleticism or speed; his blocking form has quite a few red flags (dude should be a dominant run blocker for his size). He was talented enough to get open in college against a slower LB/S; that won't be the case in the NFL. Not to mention, the dude pretty much was nonexistent until this year for Penn St. If I am drafting a TE in the top 10, choosing a 5th year senior that didn't do anything until his last season should be pretty alarming. Not saying he is going to be a bad player - I think he will be a solid short/intermediate possession TE in the NFL. I just don't understand the logic of taking him top 10
    • No one is arguing where we were on the season.  After the benching Bryce was one of the top deep ball passers in the league.  It's a skillset he has just shown he is capable of doing.  I believe he led the league in week 12 and was one of the top ones for that final quarter.  Dance around the topic and argue the stats all you want, I'm just going by what I saw on TV and read about.   https://x.com/PattonAnalytics/status/1877044086709854343 https://www.si.com/nfl/panthers/news/bryce-young-best-against-pressure-throwing-deep Hey it surprised me as well, but I'm not going to hide my head in the sand and try to ignore what is clearly right in front of me.  People have a hard time admitting their original thought may have been wrong.  That's just the world we live in.  We will see if Young can keep it up next year or not, but signs are point to DC running his offense regardless of who is QB.
    • You are right, but as of late there has been more rookie TEs making immediate impact on teams. McBride, Laporta, Kincaid and obv Bowers.  My true opinion is the team has so many holes they can go multiple directions including Safety. So it just comes down to out of all the talent in the draft who will make the immediate impact. Wr? TE? LB?
