True, but there won't be a S or DE there worth the pick.  Hurst is not worth that pick...too old.  I think offense at 24 if we don't move back.  Our defense is what it is...Norv will get some pieces.

You know, I realize that if we draft a good S, and CB our Defense will be much better. And I could live with that.

Or, we could draft a good TE, and WR and our Offense would probably be better. And I could live with that as well.

We could also draft a G/C, or a DE. They may provide depth this year, but step in as starters next year. I could probably live with that.

We probably could use one of those top tier RBs as well.

Short story long. I have no idea what I want. But man, if this works out half way in our favor. We could have a pretty good team this year.

I would also like to add. I don't give one azz rat that Hurst is 24 years old. The kid is an athlete, with smarts. Runs great routes, catches everything, and is a willing blocker. If we get him, we will have him for at least 7-8 years. I can live with that.

Using his age against him is weak attempt at downplaying him. Cuz the kid can ball.

It's really not a weak attempt to downplay him and it definitely will impact his draft status. He'll be 25 before he ever plays a down of NFL football.

Seven to eight years is realistic, and if we're lucky, we could get 10. Either way it's likely an acceptable investment. I don't see the issue.

I just personally see him as a borderline 1st round talent already, age not being considered. Generally speaking, it takes pretty special talent for a TE to go in the 1st. Plenty of years go without a TE taken in the 1st.  There were no TEs taken in the 1st in back to back drafts as recently as 2015 and 2016. I think that should probably happen again this year.

Who cares I get tired of hearing people talk about damn age. Average years played for football players is around 5-6 years anyway. He is a hell of a te and we need that with Olsen thinking about retiring. If u didn't notice how we looked on offense without Olsen last year then u don't know a thing about football.

Don't see any TE this year as a 1st round pick.. That's why I think we will draft one with the 2nd pick..  When all of them will fall to us..

But the average for 1st round picks is 9.3 years. I'll just ignore the rest of your child-like tantrum.

That's a whole 3 years. This child knows more than you will ever know. Thanks for ignoring me hopefully I won't have to read anymore of your dumbass posts!
