I won't, the guy is the best TE in this year's draft. Greg Cosell raves about him.

And he’ll be 30 at the end of his rookie contract if he’s a 1st round pick. You’re talking about a player who will likely be on the decline by the time he signs his second NFL contract. I think he’s probably the most NFL ready of all the TEs in this draft but he probably should be at 25 years old. I still think Mark Andrews is the best TE prospect.

That would give us enough time to get another one...

Well that explains it.

I don't believe it, but stranger things have happened. It may be a smokescreen. That being said, if they believe that Kirk has the skills to diversify his route tree, then maybe they think he's the next best coming of OBJ. Seriously, some people have nicknamed him Baby Beckham. I just don't know about that. But who knows?

If we draft a 25 year old TE in the 1st I’m going to be displeased.

That’s been my point with Hurst.  Don’t get me wrong. But you use a 1st round pick to hope to get a once in a decade player. Being 29 at the time his first contact is over doesn’t leave you much.  And he has only played TE for 2 years. Don’t get me wrong. Seems like he would be a great professional in the locker room.  I watched some tape on him this morning.  But I think he falls due to his age.

Voth is right, Reid is a reach there and Davenport isnt worth the pick.  Move back is still the preferred choice if we can IMO.

The way things are going Rudolph wont even be available.  Move back a little would be nice assuming we can pick the right players.
