Who cares I can get my info elsewhere this site has become a bunch of idiots just like you and MHS831. Use to come on here and get some info on real news. Now all you see when you come on here is fake news and people calling out your family. Yeah I guess Igo don't care how this site is ran anymore, probably why you never see him on here like you use too. Then he gets all these other idiots to run it for him.

RB or DT scares me---

If we do not have a Ridley or Moore or an Alexander, for example, we could drop and still get a Wynn,, Hernandez, Price, or Daniels to play G/C or a Reid or Oliver, C.Davis, etc. at DB--with an extra third, I like the odds a RB and TE can be added then--when they are good value.

I agree.  There is a group of guys in that 20-35 range that I could make an argument for and depending on what happens in front of them they could go anywhere in that range.

People need to relize  that there is a lot more variance in picks 20-40 then 1-20

Question is who is in the group that you just take and call it a day? Ridley?Davenport? Jackson?

Who is in the group you are willing to take if you know you are getting an extra draft pick out of it? Hurst? Reid? Price?

I think the DL and the OL have to be good.  So, I really like Daniels, Hernandez, Wynn, and Price.  So much, however, depends on Moton.  Are they really going to put him at G?  I think we know we need a C next year and you really do not want a rookie.

This is going to sound funny, but I also think you have to consider the fifth year option and how much a free agent costs you at that position.  Having said that, drafting an interior lineman or a TE or a RB in the first is not economically smart.  You should draft the DEs, QBs, LTs, CBs, and WRs.  So I am not against picking up a third and then using it to move back up in the early second round.

If we did that, we could draft Alexander, Hughes, or Oliver (CBs) and then move back up and grab a Daniels or a Hurst.  We would still have 2 third rounders.  Just a thought.

Thinking out loud here--but let's say the average second contract starting CB costs $10m.  If you draft one in the first round and exercise the fifth year option, you get a starting CB for about $5m per year on average.   If the average center in the NFL costs $5m on a second contract, you have to pay the CB $10m.

$10m for a CB/veteran C is cheaper than $15m for a C/veteran CB.

While I think the Guards may be the best value late in the first, early second, I think you have to consider the cap.  It makes my brain hurt.
