This situation should hit home for all Panthers fans that our core is rapidly dwindling while our division improves around us. Especially the Saints.

This is why you don't make excuses for offseason ineptitude. We should have done more to fill out our roster in 2016 and 2017. I hope we can do enough this year to stay in contention at least.

I don't think our core has dwindled, as you say. It's only changing, and likely to different positions. But I agree we need a good draft.

I'm honestly not THAT worried about our "core". Shaq was drafted to replace TD. Larsen filled in fine for Kalil last year and honestly Kalil probably should've been released this off-season. The two big exceptions are TE and DE. We have nothing behind Olsen at TE and we definitely need some young talent at DE.

Y'all keep forgetting he was suppose to play way more for TD last year and it didn't happen because Shaq sucks.

I read it, I just didn't now if testosterone and steroids counted the same with the NFL

I hate to say it, but according to this TD's story may not add up. I would assume that an estrogen blocker would likely be considered a masking agent and that TD would be facing a two game suspension if that's what he indeed tested positive for. This seems to indicate that he likely tested positive for an actual PED. Then again, this source is two years old so there may have been changes since then, but it's the most recent I could find.

Step One

If a player tests positive for a diuretic or masking agent, he will be suspended for two games without pay. Positive tests for anabolic agents or stimulants result in a four-game suspension. And, for those crafty players who test positive for both masking agents and anabolic agents a six-game suspension is in order.

Yeah everyone wants to say why I'm so down. Well guess what it's because damn Gettleman didn't do anything to make this team better. We are in really bad shape and everyone that thinks different can keep wishing for nothing.

And you're a blast to grab a beer with.

I think it's amazing the NFL can get this specific with a banned substance list but can't figure out what the hell a catch is.

If only there were labs that could test for a "catch".

The catch thing is just a mess and the NFL doesn't do themselves any favors with some of their stipulations but honestly, I doubt that it's possible to create rules that completely eliminate the controversy on what is a catch and what isn't. It's always going to largely be a judgement call. But the way it's been in recent years is crazy. When everyone in a bar watching a game can pretty much agree that yeah, he caught that and it's still an incomplete pass due to some technicality then you probably need to get rid of that technicality.

You keep forgetting that no one here values your opinion.

Well keep cheering for mediocrity. Because that is what we are getting with this team. We need a new owner, gm, and coach. Until that happens we are not going anywhere.

By the way, if it hasn’t already been said, having him fresh at the end of the year is much more important than the first four games.

But if he was taking something and now he can't and he's another year older after showing clear signs of slowing down last year...

All I'm saying is that if TD looks like a shadow of his former self this coming season I won't be surprised.
