Know the rules before you Type anything. You are a idiot. The returner has the right too the ball with or without a fair catch. That's why people slow up and let them catch the ball before they hit him. You can't get the ball unless it touches him or another player on his team. You can't hit a defenseless player. You can't launch yourself into a defenseless player. Dante did both.

If you watched the Washington game last week, you'll see that you are wrong.

MisterJiggy was asking is that what they have to do in order to convince the people accusing him of faking it.

Yes he was down and got up to walk around. That doesn't mean he didn't have a concussion. There have been players that have played through a whole game with a concussion before.

Apparently we have many doctors on the forum that have gone to medical school for years and can make a clear diagnosis that is superior to a team's own doctors without even examining the patient himself.

Did you even read anything?

He probably got a mild concussion from that hit (which is what I said before, I didn't argue with the team's doctors like you said). Did you re-watch it? His head didn't get much contact from Wesley or going to the ground. A mild concussion doesn't knock people out, nor make people look as though they're dead. You don't have to be a doctor to figure that out, you just need a hint of intelligence.

He faked the severity of his injury. The hit was stupid and Wesley deserved to be penalized. But Smith faked the severity and it wouldn't have looked as bad and the fight probably wouldn't have broken out if he didn't act like he died.

Faking or not this has been blown way up then what it really was by everyone. Hell its on the front page of Yahoo with them saying he called for a Fair catch. Just craziness.

Wesley's arm hit his chin. That's what caused the concussion and that's what has been reported. The doctors ruled it a concussion. You also don't have to be a doctor to know that your brain, when being hit that hard, can smash against the front of your skull. You have no idea the severity of the injury. You have no info to go by to come to the conclusion that Smith faked the severity of the injury. Quit talking out of your ass.

that hit was ridiculous. The ball was about 4-5 feet above the returner as wesley came down. Cheap shot.

A good gunner can time it well and deliver the blow as the ball reachers the returner, but the ball was nowhere near the guy.

Super Duper Ultra Cheap Shot.

The ball came 2 sec after the hit. At the most he missed it by 4 sec. I mean mistakes do happen.....

Carted off? WTF were you watching? He walked off on his own power and was walking around the sideline after the play.

And a concussion doesn't automatically mean you are knocked out. I seriously doubt he got anything more than a mild concussion from that because his head wasn't even hit hard. There were other tackles in the game where guys took much harder hits to the head and didn't get a concussion.

He acted like he was dead for two minutes, then got up and walked around. Recovery from serious concussions don't magically happen like that. Or do they? I haven't read any sports physiology books like apparently you have.

I see now... Every hit should of course affect every player exactly the same. It's obviously impossible that there could be two different outcomes to two different hits on two different people. I mean, you wouldn't have even had the breath knocked out of you on that hit, right? A real man such as yourself would've stood right up and run a marathon before the next snap.

Before you read that book on physiology, maybe you should read a book on reading comprehension. Oh, how ironic that would be.

Please clench your buttocks together, there are too many words spraying out!

Nooo you would be wrong Teal didn't run into the PR. He pushed 1 of his blockers who shouldn't of been their into him. Which is legal. You can run his own player into him but you can't drill him before the ball gets their. Watch more football before putting your 2 cents in.

You said the returner has the right to the ball no matter what. I just proved to you that he doesn't.

Wesley's arm hit his throat, Smith hasn't complained about his head since the game ended. He said he is having trouble swallowing, but is described as being in "fair" condition by his teammates (from pewterreport.com).

No poo that a concussion is caused by hard hits to the head. This wasn't a hard hit to the head. His head might have gotten a little contact, but not much more than others got when getting tackled today, but none of them faked death.
