Dante Wesley hit, good hit or cheap shot?

there is no halo rule but you still have to give the receiver a chance to catch the ball, which Wesley clearly didn't.

He was not defenseless..... No fair catch was called and there was not Helmet to Helmet like has been said before. Here is a better vid of it. The ball come 2 sec after the hit at the PR feet. clean hit. The return man only has a clean right to field the ball if he calls for a fair catch, which he did not. That's the difference between college and the nfl. The penalty called was fair catch interference, which was completely wrong.

All other points aren't relevant. How was wesley supposed to know that the return man was letting the ball go?

Defenseless is when a player doesn't have the ball and is left vulnerable. That's what happened to the returner and Wesley nailed him. You just said it yourself. The ball came TWO SECONDS after Wesley hit him and was 2 yards away from where the returner got hit. That is NOT clean!
