Now this is what I’m talking about. Spend time at LSU pro day - NOT at Southern Miss or Memphis.

Brett Favre came out of Southern Miss. DeAngelo Williams came out of Memphis.

It's dumb to rule out a program just because it isn't a traditional powerhouse. High level NFL talent comes from a lot of different sources and believe it or not, schools actually look at the calendars when scheduling their pro days. They're not all on the same day and NFL teams have more than one talent evaluator.

Well I hope they were not looking at Key

From GBNreport

LSU ER Key posts slow pro day 40 time … Enigmatic LSU edge rusher Arden Key had hoped to run in the 4.6-4.7 range at today’s pro day in Baton Rouge to re-energize his possibly flagging draft status. Instead, Key was only able to run in the 4.85-4.90 range which would have been one of the slowest times of any ER at the combine. Worse for Key, he was running at just 238 pounds and needed to be much quicker at that weight. For the record, Key indicated that he hopes to get back up to the 250-area by the time pro camps open in the fall. It’s hard to tell what that time will do to Key’s overall draft grade, but it sure isn’t going to help. Once a possible top 5 prospect for the upcoming draft, Key has seen his grade slip after he left the team for undisclosed reasons last winter and then struggled through an injury plagued 2017 campaign. Indeed, prior to his pro day, Key appeared to be being considered more as a mid-second round type prospect, but there are whispers around the league that no one should be surprised if he isn’t taken until later in the second day.

Anthony Miller might be the second best WR in this class. Don’t be so short-sighted.

For the record, I really like Chark, too.
