Ross's first play in the NFL was a fumble.... and if I am not mistaken only plays later shoulder injury. An existing injury that he attempted to hide. 

Lewis often spoke out about Ross needing to be healthy and on the field. However, it never happened.

If Hurney is trying to trade for him, its because there is a real possibility that the bengals just dont believe he is the right fit, and want to get compensation as opposed to him sitting on the 53

Pretty sure he missed all of the offseason which made it very difficult for him to be able to contribute year 1 and he was raw as it was coming out.
