Pretty sure it’s because they don’t do half sacks.

So does the team end up with less sacks than all the individual player sacks? Or, say Mario & Pep split a sack, does the first one to make contact get credited?

Edit: Looks like it. Cross-checked a few. Some players with ".5" in their total sacks are rounded up, some are rounded down.

Yeah this video proves why you should take stuff from PFF with a grain of salt. How can your job be to do nothing but review and analyze football stats but you can't pronounce players names correctly and you get the actual stats wrong. Wish I could suck at my job and still get paid.

    • The Bucs are tough; they are a legitimate playoff team. Baker is playing at a high level, and they have a running game they haven't had in years past. That said, their pass defense is weak, and there is a chance to exploit that even more so than against the Chiefs, but we have to score touchdowns. I think we need to score at least 21 points just to keep up. All that said, it's a division game, and none of this matters.
    • I think Bryce is going to cook.  Our team is feeling it now and have the confidence. I think we will give them a run for their money!
    • Would feel better if our 2 offensive rookies were playing  very disappointed in Tremble….liked him so much coming out of ND  it will be an interesting ‘cat and mouse’ game with Canales and his old team i do believe Evans is the usual Panthers’ killer he always is   need Chuba to have a big game looking forward to it
