With Harris back, his coverage has been stellar (I'm guessing Harris sets coverages) and I haven't seen him out of position this year. We give up some of the fewest big pass plays in the league so I really have no idea what you're going on about with that.

No he's not a sure tackler and that has to improve, but your criticisms are baseless on the first two.

If QB's aren't throwing it deep it means the secondary is doing a good job. Almost all passes against us are short, underneath routes and nothing more. It's not as if we've been going up against scrub passing offenses all year either.

If Godfrey was so bad, especially given the system we run, opposing QB's would be making it rain all day to his side of the field and that just hasn't been happening.

They don't need to make it rain all day when you can average well over a hundred running yards a day on us.

First 3 weeks teams didn't need to throw....offense gave up points and we could stop the run. Inflated numbers showing the Panthers are good against the pass.

Past two weeks....Washington/Tampa. They simply suck. Campbell and Zorn have proven over time they aren't a legit threat to pass and the Bucs have done nothing all year.

Also, the Panther invite teams to take the short stuff...that is why Gamble or whoever will line up 10 yards off and beg teams to take that instead of looking downfield.

Teams made it rain on him all last season. As soon as we face a remotely decent pass offense....you will get your confirmation. Everyone will attack his reponsibilities....why wouldn't you?

Based off of your comments I don't think you understand how NFL defenses work. People at every level set assignments.

How do you explain Matt Ryan not connecting deep against us, he has done so against other teams even when the rushing game was going well.

I'm not saying Godfrey is perfect but he's definitely not the player many of your are trying to make him out to be.
