You have to know their point of view to do that. Have you heard the cheerleaders' argument?

That is what I mean.  We jump to judgement.  It is the Merican way.

Well I guess I'll need to become a panther's cheerleader because there's no other way I'll ever be able to understand. Perspective and first hand accounts be damned!

I believe he was referring to OUR point of view.

Judgement is owned by the beholder. If you think a movie sucked, but I think it was great? Which is it?

To be relative.... if one cheer leader loves her job and another doesn't... is the job bad?

Speechless?

They should be happy they’re not at home making samwiches like they’re supposed to be doing.

the fact they are even allowed to vote is more than enough consolation for whatever rules they have to abide by when in public.

Minimum wage? They should be paying for the opportunity to leave their homes instead of being good little girls and staying at home cooking and cleaning so the men can come home and kick their boots off to a beer and warm food and a foot rub and other necessities.

ha. Ha. HA, offended? These rules are necessary to keep them in line because the insane amount of freedom they have is enough to corrupt a fragile little lady if they aren’t careful.

(in all seriousness, the rules are probably there to protect the girls from unnecessary criticism from all the snowflakes who would no doubt raise a ruckus if god forbid someone sees a cheerleader talking to a football player.)

You are responding to a person that asked a woman just how they knew what it was like to be a woman.

Because you called us idiots. You kinda antagonized us. How do you expect to call someone an idiot and think they would walk away and not point out that your post is just disingenuous as your comments.

Instead of providing a relevant argument how they are mistreated in accordance to US labor laws, you decided spotlight the fact they can't wear a certain clothing?

The thing that I am struggling to comprehend is why you are not mouthing business practices, but instead you are bad mouthing a business for not letting you do what you want.

Lastly, next time you pretend to care about something that has relevance in a current movement, come prepared with more evidence and support to give a better platform. Until then, you sound just as "idiotic" as the rest of us.... shoot first and ask questions later, right?

If the shoe fits...

First of all, some of you came in my thread with the intention of derailing it with your idiotic comments. Secondly, if you're going to quote me, quote me correctly. Lastly, there is no point in trying to have a civilized discussion with you on here so BYE.

lol the rules.  This organization should be able to do better, and they can.  They just wont.  It's 2018 people.

Yea I keep forgetting that men and women are biologically different than they were 50-100-200 years ago.

somehow men can pretend they are women and be treated as such and use the ladies restroom, and women can leave the house without a male escort.

Yea, times have changed.

@Cookie Lyon we've made every attempt to have a civilized discussion with you, but I feel like it was one sided. It appears you just want everyone to agree - that isn't real life.

I agree that some of these rules seem arbitrary, and dumb, and the NFL could surely pay the cheerleaders a higher wage. Not sure if it qualifies as a scandal, lots of jobs, as previous posters have pointed out, have rules and requirements that suck, and not many have the perks that come with being an NFL cheerleader.

Man, is there any better clickbait than a topic about cheerleaders?

Can we stop with the “but but they signed up for it” crap. A bunch of damn cave men in here.

Just because someone voluntarily agrees to work somewhere, doesn’t mean they should be treated like sh*t or asked to do absurd things. We don’t know everyone’s situation or why they agree to do the things they do. Just another example of a group of men incapable of empathy or putting themselves in the shoes of someone else.

    • Hope Koch recovers (he’s stated numerous times he doesn’t like to be called “koochie”) soon. But he does not instill confidence in the crease. I don’t have any confidence in any of our goalies, healthy or not. Andersen when available gives us the best chance to win but he’s never available.    Team has to explore trade options soon.
    • Respectfully, I completely disagree. Last year we were:  32nd in Sacks. 32nd in Turnovers.  32nd in Rushing TDs allowed  29th in Scoring.  We were absolutely atrocious on defense last year and that was with a full stable of weapons in Derek Brown, Frankie Luvu and Brian Burns that played all 17 games.  Using yards per game as a metric to guage our success lacks the context that because our offense was so inept teams were not driving the length of the field, they were starting at their 40-50 yard line.  This year, our Defense ranks:  31st in Sacks. Tied for 19th in Turnovers  31st in Rushing TDs allowed 32nd in Scoring  His defense fails to get pressure, fails to turn the ball over and fails to stop the run. Three things you absolutely have to do to be successful in the NFL.  Denver meanwhile has not missed a beat without him.  If another team wants to hire him as a HC and the Panthers get two 3rds for it I'll wish him the best and pack his bags myself.
