The classic "Im going to lose you in a web of semantics and not address the issue, while not really saying anything to back up my own case" line.  Nice play~

Not really---two wrongs is not semantics--common sense. The issue, is you and those like you--not women and fairness.

Now, since it is not my job to raise you to recognize right vs. wrong, since you feel qualified to make decisions for others,  I will leave it to those who have yet to accomplish that task.

What exactly are we trying to determine is right or wrong?  Generalized statements that have no meaning are just mindless chatter.

Water breaks can be taken only when the Panthers are on offense. TopCats must leave the stadium to change into their personal attire

I have a major issue with the parts in bold. I'm speechless.

@Cookie Lyon you know what gets me? The fact that the part in bold are the major issues in your eyes..... Not the weight management, lack of pay, restriction of social media, requirement of fitness, or the one weekend per month sacrifice for volunteer work.

However, from OP the pressing issue is that they are not allowed to wear certain attire when leaving work, and can't drink water when they are supposed to be performing......?

and you called me dramatic........ smh.

Folks, the bottom line is this:  None of us know enough details to ridicule these women or criticize the concern.  If you jumped on the attach with no details, if you feel qualified to judge others based on hunches or hearsay, what does that say about you?  It is the same form of ignorance that is being exploited every day by politicians.

You all are making some STUPID excuses to denigrate (that means put down) these women.  I heard, "if they don't like it, there are hundreds more who would love to..."  Doesn't that apply to the players as well?  If the cheerleaders are good enough and talented enough, they should be treated with more dignity, based on this perception.  The players dress at the stadium.   They get breaks.

So if you are not a Panther cheerleader or their supervisor, I think you need a big bowl of shutup  because you are ignornt about this topic.  Only stupid people form strong opinions without knowledge of the subject.  Yes, this applies here.

Because you called us idiots. You kinda antagonized us. How do you expect to call someone an idiot and think they would walk away and not point out that your post is just disingenuous as your comments.

Instead of providing a relevant argument how they are mistreated in accordance to US labor laws, you decided spotlight the fact they can't wear a certain clothing?

The thing that I am struggling to comprehend is why you are not mouthing business practices, but instead you are bad mouthing a business for not letting you do what you want.

Lastly, next time you pretend to care about something that has relevance in a current movement, come prepared with more evidence and support to give a better platform. Until then, you sound just as "idiotic" as the rest of us.... shoot first and ask questions later, right?

Your heart is in the right place. But that theory is not logically sound. It's called perspective and we use it to see things from other people's point of view.

You have to know their point of view to do that. Have you heard the cheerleaders' argument?

That is what I mean.  We jump to judgement.  It is the Merican way.

While I agree that the cheerleaders are not forced to do any of this and they do so of their own free will, I don't believe they are compensated fairly and the rules they must abide by are cringeworthy. Just because someone else wants to come and do the job doesn't mean the workplace is healthy. I'm pretty sure people were clamoring for meat industry jobs at the turn of the century in NYC (as described by Upton Sinclair). Not necessarily comparing the dramatic differences but the concept that a workplace can treat it's employees unjustly and people still want to work there. The whole league treats cheerleaders wrong in my opinion.

I actually don't have a problem with these two bolded points.  They are athletic performers.  Weight management and fitness should be a no brainer.  If you can't keep a reasonable weight and fitness level to perform for the duration of the event, your kind of useless for showing up to the game.  It's not like thats a female only requirement.  KB weight issues anyone?

    • Hope Koch recovers (he’s stated numerous times he doesn’t like to be called “koochie”) soon. But he does not instill confidence in the crease. I don’t have any confidence in any of our goalies, healthy or not. Andersen when available gives us the best chance to win but he’s never available.    Team has to explore trade options soon.
    • Respectfully, I completely disagree. Last year we were:  32nd in Sacks. 32nd in Turnovers.  32nd in Rushing TDs allowed  29th in Scoring.  We were absolutely atrocious on defense last year and that was with a full stable of weapons in Derek Brown, Frankie Luvu and Brian Burns that played all 17 games.  Using yards per game as a metric to guage our success lacks the context that because our offense was so inept teams were not driving the length of the field, they were starting at their 40-50 yard line.  This year, our Defense ranks:  31st in Sacks. Tied for 19th in Turnovers  31st in Rushing TDs allowed 32nd in Scoring  His defense fails to get pressure, fails to turn the ball over and fails to stop the run. Three things you absolutely have to do to be successful in the NFL.  Denver meanwhile has not missed a beat without him.  If another team wants to hire him as a HC and the Panthers get two 3rds for it I'll wish him the best and pack his bags myself.
