You described this thread to a tee.

This discussion has certainly flown past the outrage of Cheerleaders needing to wait for offense to take a water break.

I think I can see where they were coming from on that one.  D on the field, team wants it to be loud.  Cheerleaders supposed to help get the crowd in to it. O on the field, crowd shut the fug up so the O can work.  Cheerleaders not needed.  It's still stupid.  Hopefully the fan base would know to be loud and cheerleaders wouldn't be noticed anyways.

Just pay the cheerleaders more like they deserve to be and rework the guidelines. I don't care if a player and a cheerleader date. Cheerleaders follow the fitness requirements like the players do and other athletic performers do.

Again you know that the Panthers control who you date or are seen with?  I know a top cat who was living with a friend of my son. No one apparently said anything. Where are you getting this info? From your friend who speaks for all cheerleaders. Or are you trying so hard to find a shred of evidence to support your outrage you are making things up.  What do you think would happen if Cam got photographed kissing a dude in public romantically.

.  Think that would fly with no issue? The point is not whether reporters follow you around as much as the.moment you do something you shouldn't miraculously someone recognizes you and you are in trouble. How were folks feeling when Cam was throwing money in a strip joint. Everyone cool with that. Has he done it again? I don't know. Do you?

Again, as I’ve stated; the article mentions more than just the Panthers, so I’m speaking on more than just the Panthers. I also never said my friends speak for all cheerleaders. Don’t put words in my mouth or add anything to my posts that I haven’t posted. I told you I’m speaking for my friends, who have voiced displeasure, because they have spoken up for me and mines and i also don’t agree with everything that the article has said is put on them.

I ain’t have no problem with Cam throwing money in a strip joint. Wouldn’t have any problem with Cam kissing a dude in public. Only ones who would are you and a good portion of the fan base. I’d clown him, though. I’d clown anybody who displayed public affection. Has Cam been to stripper club throwing money since all y’all were outraged?

Yep, lol. Just more private with it.

They more than likely don't have to leave the stadium to change their clothes unlike the cheerleaders.

As a former Bobcats ballboy, I can tell u that the Lady Cats/Honey Bees had their own locker room. They also dated players on the Bobcats and would hang out with players from visiting teams. I can’t tell u how many times I’d have to go get one of their phone numbers for a player during the game.

So I look at this from both sides. I would have done the ball boy job for free just cuz I’m sitting on the bench for every home game. You wanna pay me to watch my favorite team, u go right ahead haha...these girls all had other jobs but still counted on this one too even tho it didn’t pay great. But a lot also enjoyed the perks aka the lifestyle of hanging with players or being around celebrities. I think minimum wage is fine but anything above that is kinda silly in my opinion.

And if stadiums are contiplating building locker rooms for female refs, why not make them accessible for the cheerleaders as well? I might be confusing this with the NBA tinkering with that idea but it still works for both sports.

That is where you are very wrong. I don't care what Cam does in his free time or a top cat for that matter. I am not associated with the Panthers in any way but as a fan. No I am simply pointing that if you are a public figure you have to adhere to a higher standard just like my job requires me to adhere to ethical and.legal standards. If I don't want to follow the guidelines I can do something else for a living.

I am sure some team somewhere has draconian rules for their cheerleaders and that if you look hard enough you can find something wrong with everything. But for my money and my.last word on the subject you are making mountains out of molehills and your outrage way overblown but since you went this far you can't back up now so get in the last word but honestly this has been a huge waste of time about a non-issue.

A molehill to you is a mountain to someone else, but you are right, you can have your opinion on the issue. I am required to both legal and ethical standards as well, but nobody tells me who I can date or what I can wear outside of the job, and I believe it’s wrong for anyone to have to go through that. If I believe something is wrong, I’m going to state that.

If the issue was a waste of time, or non-issue, then you should not have engaged with me. You quoted me. Your fault that you wasted your time, but sorry I guess *shrugs*

I’m with u that molehill to some can be a mountain to others. In no way do I disagree with that. In regards to the clothes issue, let me ask u this.

If u had a background in truck driving and worked delivering beers to stores, and part of your job stated u weren’t allowed to be seen drinking competitors beers or wearing anything made by your competitors outside of work, would you adhere to the rules or go find another job? Keep in mind, you were told the rules up front.

I already debunked this Cookie.

As I shared before, my friend who is a Topcat said that the article was inaccurate on the changing policy. They are restricted on wearing "specific" clothing when leaving/entering the stadium. They are not leaving in their cheer uniforms.

Also, why did you say this thread is racist? This has nothing to do with race. Absolutely ZERO to do with race. Why bring that into the conversation? Also, WHY have you not spoken for yourself?

So with this being said, what is your REAL concern on this issue? because so far all I've gotten is you think they are not being provided with enough water....

@AggieLean earlier in the thread you mentioned showing empathy for people's post and then you call someone a racist for speaking about how he/she believes people over react on social issues that don't involve them. You have shown that you care, but you've also shown that could be can be just childish as the rest.  In my eyes this was uncalled for, and comes off as an attempt to spark a conversation that doesn't belong here.

With the evidence provided in this thread, the takeaway from the OP is that they do not agree with the water breaks for the cheerleaders.

At this point, that's up to them to resolve. If the OP wants to be a freedom fighter go hold up a sign outside of the stadium.

Maybe not a "non-issue" but it is  "not our issue"

Like I said before, if you're going to quote me, quote me accurately. Stop putting words in my mouth and lying about what I've said. I never said that this thread was racist. I was agreeing with @KaseKlosed that this forum is full of closet racists. Why did you quote me instead of @KaseKlosed? Since you insist on lying on me, there is nothing further to discuss with you on this matter. You're dismissed.

No words needed to be put in your mouth.... its right there, clear as day. You are exemplifying a strong case why negligence leads to frustrations and anger for an abstract argument.

You have shown some evident irresponsibility with your posts in this thread, and your credibility has taken a hit.

You've lost my vote.
