I love it when people say that poor footwork is so easy to fix.  Cam  is going into his 8th season and we have yet to “fix” his footwork.  And no...im not bashing Cam.  I love the man and defend him until red in the face.  And yes, I understand that the system and lack of OL have contributed to his footwork.

I've said before that Lamar Jackson will be a considerably better quarterback in this league than Newton. We need to grab him if he falls.

Lol...its one thing to not totally dismiss Him as a QB...but don't get ridiculous

Since college offense is so different than NFL offense in most cases its very hard to judge if one guy can make all the throws or all the read he will do in the NFL because he never has to in college.  The main you need to look at, for QB especially, is how much do they improve and learn from 1 year to the next.  Because for the first 2 or 3 years in the NFL that will be the main thing they are doing if they are playing on the field or not, they better be learning.

Mayfield, for example, improved a ton.  The guy went from a walk-on to a Hesiman winner and got better every year.  Jackson, did not.  His completion precentage went up but you watch him play and he made the same WFT throws last year as he did his freshman year.  That's what scares me about Jackson.  It's not that he can't play QB, it's that he is really not any better now than he was when he won the Heisman.   Only reason I am saying this is because I saw the same thing in Manziel any I got called a hipocrite.

It's not about black or white, it's about getting better and learning or not.  Completion percentage going up or not, if you can't learn when not to make stupid throws you days as a QB in the NFL are numbered.
