Rams Have Offered Pick #23 For Odell Beckham Jr.

I certainly agree with this from the Ram's point of view, where they are a nudge away from a serious contender.  If he can help them win the next superbowl, then by all means go for it.

From the Panther's point of view, we are not just a player away, and his contract and personality would more likely get in the way of us getting back to being a serious contender.  That money can be better used cleaning up our secondary or Oline.

I applaud the Rams for the moves they’ve made and are still trying to make. This is what we should’ve done after our super bowl run, but Gman ended up giving up our shutdown corner and trying to replace him with 3 corners, with all 3 having a chance of crapping out. Eagles went for it last offseason, and it paid off for them. We went Conservative, and now the Saints, in our division, have passed us by.

Oh well, maybe we’ll be able to make another legit run in another 5-10 years.

If I were an NFL GM, I wouldn't touch OBJ with a 10 foot pole. Nevermind that NO wideout is worth the type of contract he appears to want, the guy's a ticking time bomb and a major disruptive presence in the locker room. On top of that, he's had injury issues throughout his career.

I'm not denying his talent; dude is a monster on the field. But he is also more trouble than he's worth and certainly more trouble than what it'd take to get him and what he wants to be paid.

Oh, and the Rams? Everyone remember the "dream team" the Eagles put together back in 2011? Remember how dominant they were?

Yeah, me neither.

Why is this even being talked about? We are not even close to being involved with a trade for OBJ, I guess another sucky thread!!!!

It was pretty evident what this thread was about by reading it's title.  How about just quit clicking on threads so you aren't so disappointed?

I pretty much agree completely
