Odell is only 25 and a great receiver. I’d give them our pick one of our thirds and one of Gettleman guys, Vern, Shaq

fug him! he isn't as good as he thinks he is, I'd pass. Plus, we cant afford him.

If the Giants had a good O line, or a good running game, or a good defense, I could see paying him and front loading the hell out of the deal.

However, they are in full rebuild, and will need a lot of pieces to compete with the Eagles in that division.

I think trading the head case, and acquiring as many bullets as possible, drafting your QB at 2, and moving on is the best idea.

What OBJ brings to the table isn't going to fix what ails the Giants.  His eccentric behavior and outrageous pay demands are a headache/distraction to the team's rebuilding process.

Giants might be able to obtain a higher 1st or additional picks for OBJ by waiting, but for the sake of the team's future, moving on from his antics might be worth accepting 23 from the Rams.

Agree.

This also seems like it's coming from over DG's head as well.  Owners seem skiddish on paying him top player money, and they likely know him and his antics better than any of us.

If I'm the Titans, I'm probably making this call.  See if Mariota really is the guy.

If Eli is going to be retiring soon, then they will be breaking in a new QB.  So, you gonna pay this guy boatloads of money while your new QB takes a couple years to come into his own?

I would move him.

Get a first and third and never look back

Yeap, Giants ownership has now gone out of their way to make negative comments to the press about OBJs antics.  OBJ must realize that his days as a Giant are either numbered or if he remains in NY, the ownership has no intention meeting his pay demands.

A trade seems better for all parties invovled than contentious negotiations on salary.

It simply makes more sense for Super Bowl contender like the Rams to seek out OBJ's services as a potential difference maker.

Giants can better spend OBJs salary elsewhere.
