Signing him to a 1 year deal hardly points to him being our starting LG. A possibility, sure, but not very likely right now. Larsen and Moton are probably ahead of him. And very possible we draft a OG/C in the first 3 rounds this year that can and will start immediately at LG.

The more guys the better from a competition stand point. And, as seen in the league before, a bounce around back up vet could all of a sudden produce a good year. Look at the Vikings QB last year, had a career year out of no where. Having more guys to choose from only helps us find the best one or at least have enough decent guys when others get hurt. He wasn't that bad filling in. You can't have stars on the bench for every position.
